Rams Return Home for Four-Day Weekend

Colorado State set to host first conference games of its season

FORT COLLINS - The Colorado State softball team will compete in its second week of conference play against New Mexico on March 20 - March 22. The Rams will also have a game against Saint Mary's on Thursday before facing the Lobos.

What You Need to Know    
  • This event marks the first home conference games the Rams will compete in of the 2026 spring season. 
  • Saturday's game against the Lobos is White Out for the Rams, with fans encouraged to wear white to support. 
  • Sunday's game is Bark in the Park, with fans encouraged to bring their dogs out for a great day at the ballpark. 
  • All four games throughout the weekend will be free to attend. Games will be hosted at Ram Field on Colorado State's campus.  
  • All four games will be streamed and can be accessed on the Mountain West Network.    
 
Game Notes     
  • The Rams went 1-2 during their first conference series against San Diego State, notching a win in their first game of conference play. 
  • Autumn Rutherford led the Rams offensively, finishing the weekend with a .429 batting average with three hits, one double and one run for a slugging percentage of .571. 
  • Redshirt sophomore Allyson Moody earned her first career home run in game two against the Aztecs, notching one of the three RBI the Rams earned on the weekend. Moody ended the weekend with a .571 batting average. 
  • The Rams ended the weekend with 15 total hits and three runs through three games. Defensively, the Rams notched 57 putouts and 22 assists as a whole.  
  • Reagan Wick notched a win during the weekend, advancing her record to 10-7, with a weekend ERA of 1.11. Throughout the weekend Wick added four strikeouts in 12.2 innings pitched, contributing heavily to keeping the Aztecs to four total runs on the weekend.
