Colorado State continues spring season in Texas
FORT COLLINS - The Colorado State softball team will continue its 2026 season at the River State Classic on February 20-22. The Rams will compete in five games over the course of three days, starting with their first game of the tournament against host Texas State.  Â

What You Need to Know Â
- This event marks the third week on the road for the Rams, as they will compete in the River State Classic before returning to Ram Field for the season's home opener February 28.  Â
- The River State Classic will see the Rams face off against a competitive lineup of teams, including the host Texas State, as well as No. 23 Oklahoma State, Kansas City and Brown.  Â
- Sunday's game against Texas State will be streamed and can be accessed on ESPN+. Â

Game Notes  Â
- Lauren Stucky led the Rams on offense, completing the weekend with a .467 batting average after recording seven hits and six RBI for a slugging percentage of .600.Â
- The Rams ended their second weekend with 33 hits and 22 runs as a team, including a dominant 10-2 win against Fairleigh Dickenson. Â
- Two of the 22 hits during the weekend came from home runs recorded by Jailey Wilson and Kaylynn English. This marked both of their first home runs on the season.Â
- Giselle Bentley recorded her first win on the season, ending the weekend with a 1.56 ERA and notching a win against Fairleigh Dickenson. Â
