Linebacker chasing a career year in tackles

Tampa Bay is moving closer to securing a playoff berth, and Sunday's rally past Atlanta kept the Buccaneers and Shaquil Barrett in line to reach the postseason.

Down 17-0, the Bucs scored 21 in the third quarter to set up a 31-27 victory, the ninth of the season for the team, which sits one game behind New Orleans in the NFC South. Barrett helped the effort, posting three tackles in the contest. He had one tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry.

Barrett is up to 52 tackles on the season, three shy of the career-best 55 he had a season ago; his 40 solo stops are just two off the 42 he had in 2019.

Shaquil Barrett – He registered three tackles, including one for a loss and a quarterback hurry as Tampa Bay overcame a 17-0 deficit to beat Atlanta 31-27.

Ty Sambrailo – He is possibly out for the season after sustaining an injury.

Weston Richburg – San Francisco does not expect the veteran center to return to the lineup this season after having a setback in his recovery.

Trent Sieg – Las Vegas slipped to 7-7 with a 30-27 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Rashard Higgins – He had four catches as the Browns won their 10th game, his 76 receiving yards leading the team in a 20-6 win over the New York Giants.

Michael Gallup – He snared three passes for 26 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown in a 41-33 victory for Dallas over San Francisco.

Bisi Johnson – He was not targeted in the Vikings' 33-27 loss to Chicago.

Preston Williams – Officially on the IR, he has missed six games and is eligible to be activated when healthy.

Josh Watson – He recorded a specials-team tackle in Denver's 48-19 home loss to Buffalo.
