Second-year pro helps Vikings rally for win

At Colorado State, he was simply known as "The Standard" for his work ethic.

Sunday, Bisi Johnson set a new professional one for himself after having a career game in a 28-27 victory for Minnesota over Carolina.

Johnson was targeted seven times in the game, turning all of them into receptions, good for 74 yards. Both figures represent career-bests for the second-year pro. For good measure, he added a tricky catch for a 2-point conversion in the victory as the Vikings scored 18 fourth-quarter points to rally for the win.

It was the first time since the opener Johnson had multiple catches in a game. His receptions tied for the team lead; the yardage led Vikings' wideouts.

Shaquil Barrett – He finished the game with three tackles, including a sack, while adding a pair of quarterback hurries and forcing a fumble in a 27-24 loss to the Chiefs.

Ty Sambrailo – He is possibly out for the season after sustaining an injury last week. He had started five consecutive games for the Titans who are 8-3 after a 45-26 win over the Colts.

Weston Richburg – San Francisco announced Monday the veteran snapper will miss the first 12 games due to offseason shoulder surgery which has set back his return to action. The 49ers beat the Los Angeles Rams 23-20.

Trent Sieg – Las Vegas had a long day, dropping a 43-6 decision to Atlanta.

Rashard Higgins – He was targeted twice, coming up with one catch for 15 yards in a 27-25 win over Jacksonville, the eighth of the season for Cleveland.

Michael Gallup – He six catches for 41 yards in a 41-16 loss to Washington.

Bisi Johnson – He led the team with seven receptions on seven targets, accounting for 74 yards in the Vikings' 28-27 win over the Panthers.

Preston Williams – Officially on the IR, he has missed three games and would be eligible to be activated this week.

Josh Watson – He was on the active list for the third consecutive week in the Broncos' 31-3 loss to the Saints.
