THE WEEK
• Colorado State will have a short turnaround as it heads north to Laramie for the first edition of the Border War for the season on Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m. MT match.
• The match will also be broadcast on Stadium TV.
• Following the Border War, the Rams will return to Moby Arena and host Air Force on Friday night at 7 p.m. MT
 
OPPONENTS AT A QUICK GLANCE
• Wyoming will begin the week with a 10-6 mark and 2-2 in conference play after dropping a pair of matches in California last week.
• The Cowgirls suffered a losses at Fresno State and San Diego State last week. The loss to the Aztecs snapped a 13-match slide for San Diego State.
• Colorado State hold s 64-20 record in the Border War, dating back to the 1976 season.
• Air Force begins the week with a 12-5 overall record and 2-1 in Mountain West Conference play.
• The Falcons will play Wyoming on Thursday night before playing Colorado State on Friday night.
• AF started league play with wins against San Diego State and UNLV at home.
• This week's MW matches will be the first for Air Force of the season as it started the season with a three-match homestand.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
• Following the week, the Rams will have the weekend off before hosting Boise State and Utah State next weekend.
• Colorado State will play the Broncos on Thursday, Oct 11 starting at 7 p.m.
• The Rams will finish the week facing the Aggies on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.
• Both matches will be broadcast on the MW Network.
 
RAMS AT A GLANCE
• Colorado State will continue its Mountain West Conference schedule with an 11-5 overall record and 3-1 in conference play after posting a 1-1 mark last week in California.
• The Rams defeated San Diego State, 3-1 in their first league road match of the season, but dropped its last match of the weekend at Fresno State.
• Breana Runnels tallied her fifth double-double of the season against the Bulldogs with 18 kills and a career-high 15 digs.
• The loss against Fresno State was the first against the Bulldogs since the 2012 season and snapped a nine-match series winning streak.
• Breana Runnels has reached double-figure kills in every match except for against Michigan and UNC Wilmington.
• Kirstie Hillyer set a new career-high hitting mark in the match at Fresno State, posting a .611 hitting percentage.
