Rams reassign offensive coordinator Peterson

FORT COLLINS, Colo. &ndash; The Colorado State Rams on Thursday made a change in their football coaching staff, reassigning Greg Peterson to concentrate full-time on recruiting duties. Head Coach Steve Fairchild made the announcement.

Peterson had been the Rams&rsquo; offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach, in addition to his recruiting coordinator duties, since joining the staff on Jan. 14, 2008.

Fairchild and graduate assistant Darrell Ballard, in addition to the other four full-time members of the offensive coaching staff, will coach the receivers for the balance of the season. Fairchild has called offensive plays since becoming head coach prior to the 2008 campaign.
