Sunday's matchup pits the Rams against a vote-receiving Gamecocks team

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State continues its non-conference play slate Sunday, taking on South Carolina at the CSU Soccer Field.

The Rams return to Fort Collins on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m. The team carries a 1-2-0 mark so far this season after falling to Northern Colorado on Aug. 23. Sunday's match highlights the Rams' rigorous non-conference schedule. South Carolina received 11 votes in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
 

Series History

· This will be the first meeting between the Rams and Gamecocks.
 

Scouting the Opponent

· South Carolina went 10-5-5 last season, finishing seventh in the Southeastern Conference.

· Senior transfer Sydney Middaugh leads the Gamecocks in goals (2) so far this season. Prior to joining the Gamecocks, Middaugh led Saint Mary's in goals (10) during the 2025 season.
