Rams extend winning streak into week two of conference play
FORT COLLINS - Colorado State women's soccer team enters week two of conference play 2-0 for the first time in program history. The Rams will remain home for two matchups against California opponents. They will face San Jose State (0-7-3 overall) first with a game against Fresno State (5-3-2 overall) two days later.
San Jose's match will take place on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.; with Sunday's match against Fresno State set for 12:00 p.m. Both will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network with live scoring also available.
Following last week's Colorado Springs matchups, Colorado State is now 6-3-1 as it continues Mountain West play. The two wins from last week have the Rams undefeated in conference, entering week two with a winning streak of three.
San Jose State:
Colorado State is set to host two more home matches, starting with Boise State on Oct. 10, at 4 p.m. The Rams will then celebrate Senior Day on Oct. 13 at 1 p.m against Utah State, the team they faced in the Mountain West Championship Final.

- With matches beginning in 2013, Fresno leads the series 6-2-2, with the Rams last win against the Bulldogs in 2023.

- Katy Coffin had the game winning goal against Colorado College becoming the ninth different goal scorer this season.
- Kenady Leighton scored her first collegiate goal against Air Force.
- Leighton was named this week's waterpik Student Athlete of the Week.
- Both Shayna Ross and Libby Brooker contributed to the fifth shutout of the season agaisnt CC without having to record a save.
