FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State’s Dec. 31 matchup at Boise State has been shifted from a 2 p.m. tipoff to an 11:30 a.m. MT start.

The decision was made to accommodate Boise State staff and fans that want to be able to watch the Broncos’ football team play in the Fiesta Bowl, which kicks off at 2 p.m.

The New Year’s Eve contest is the Rams’ Mountain West opener. CSU was picked to finish first in the league this season. Conference play runs through the beginning of March before all 11 teams travel to Las Vegas, Nev., for the MW tournament.

Colorado State has one more game before league play begins. The Rams host Cal Poly on Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at CSURams.com or by calling 1-800-491-RAMS.
