FORT COLLINS, Colo.--The Colorado State women's basketball program has signed Hali Ford for the 2012-13 season. Head Coach Kristen Holt made the announcement.

Ford is a first team all-district player who averaged 14 points, 3.76 assists, 4.12 steals, 5.4 blocks and 7.2 rebounds per game her junior year.

She was voted best in camp this summer at Saint Louis University. Ford was an all-star in her pool at U.S junior nationals' eighth annual Summer Final-Midwest Tournament in Chicago, Ill.

Ford took gold in the triple-jump and 100-meter hurdles at the Missouri State Class 3 Track Championships.

Ford also represented the state of Missouri in The Great Southwest Classic, an elite national track meet at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque.

"Hali is a tremendous athlete with a lot of upside," said Holt. "She will be counted on to rebound, defend and run the floor.  Hali can get to the rim and score because of her quickness and strength."
