Colorado State aims to return to win column at Boise State

BOISE, Idaho – Turnovers, a season-high 16, was the difference as Colorado State fell to Boise State 65-58 on Tuesday night.

The Rams had arguably the worst half of the season with a low 21 points and 10 turnovers, shooting 42.9% percent in the first 20 minutes. While the offense struggled the defense played well holding BSU to 39.3% as CSU trailed 28-21.

A 9-0 run in the middle of the second half by Boise State put Colorado State in a hole they were unable to dig out of trailing by as much as 13.

Following an Isaiah Stevens layup with 1:33 on the clock, CSU cut the deficit to four but could not score again for the next minute as the Broncos put the game away at the free throw line.
