Colorado State men’s hoops tips off Pac-12 season in January
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State men's basketball prepares to tip off its inaugural season in the Pac-12 in 2026-27, and the roadmap for conference play is now set with the release of the Pac-12 schedule on Wednesday.
The nine-team conference will play a true round-robin format, facing each team twice (home and away). Tip times and the network TV schedule will be released in October. Ninety percent of the Pac-12's conference schedule was picked up by its national TV partners CBS, CW and USA Sports.
CSU's inaugural Pac-12 game schedule starts and ends with Moby Madness. The Rams host Texas State on Wednesday, January 6, to open conference play and host Gonzaga on Saturday, March 6, to close it out.
Other key home games include San Diego State on January 30, Boise State on February 18, and Utah State on February 25, with Coach Ali Farokhmanesh matching up against his former college coach, Ben Jacobson.
The Pac-12 features some of the most iconic road venues in the country as the Rams visit Gonzaga at the Kennel on Saturday, January 9, San Diego State at Viejas Arena on January 14 and The Spectrum at Utah State, February 10.
CSU and previous Pac-12 members Oregon State and Washington State will play in Moby on January 21 and February 6, respectively, while making the trips to Corvallis and Pullman on February 27 and February 13.
The 2027 Pac-12 Tournament will take place in Las Vegas at the MGM Garden Arena March 9-13.
The Rams are coming off a 21-13 season and qualifying for the NIT. Farokhmanesh became just the third first-year coach in program history to win 20-plus games. The team returns six of its top eight scorers from last season.
