After nearly a month, Colorado State returns home for a pair of matches on Friday and Saturday against Fresno State.

THE WEEK
• Colorado State will return to Moby Arena after being away for nearly a month.
• The Rams will host Fresno State for two matches on March 19 and 20.
• CSU will face the Bulldogs on back-to-back nights with the first match serving at 5 p.m., MT and the second at 2 p.m., MT on the Mountain West Network.
• Due to COVID-19, the Rams will often play the same opponent back-to-back at the same site.
 
OPPONENT AT A QUICK GLANCE
• Fresno State enters the weekend with a 6-4 mark after splitting last weekend's matches against Wyoming.
• The Bulldogs return nearly their entire starting lineup for a year ago, including their leader in digs, blocks and kills.
• Fresno State averages 11.98 kills per set - seventh in the MW - and 2.10 blocks - fifth in the league.
 
LAST TIME OUT
• Colorado State faced Fresno State twice in 2019, recording a sweep in both.
• The Rams' last loss against the Bulldogs in Moby Arena was back in 1996 - an eight-match streak.

• Colorado State split its series at San Jose State last weekend.
• The Rams recorded their second sweep of the season in the first contests before dropping the finale in their first five-set match.
• CSU is tied for fifth in the Mountain West standings with a 5-5 record with six matches left, four of which are at home.
• CSU is fourth in the Mountain West in hitting (.224), assists (11.81) and kills (12.84).
• Breana Runnels is second in the conference in kills with a 4.08 average, which is also ranked No. 59 in the country.
• Ciera Zimmerman continues to lead the league in assists with a 10.22 average and is No. 57 in the nation.
• Alexa Roumeliotis also continues to lead the back row, averaging a league high 4.89 digs per set, also No. 60 in Division I.
• Head Coach Tom Hilbert secured his 300th Mountain West Conference victory in the first match at Nevada to be the only coach in the league to reach that milestone.
•Senior Breana Runnels was named the Preseason Player of the Year for the first time and named to the Preseason Team for the third time in her career.
