Colorado State continues action at the 2010 San Francisco Hilltop Challenge on Thursday afternoon, taking on the Dominican (Calif.) Penguins at USF's War Memorial Gymnasium.
The Rams are riding a five-game winning streak, the longest streak under Head Coach Tim Miles, into the game. Dominican, an NCAA Division II school from the Pacific West Conference, enters the contest 0-8 to start the season.

The Dominican (Calif.) Penguins entered action at the Hilltop Challenge 0-7 to start the season, and dropped their eight consecutive game on Wednesday, losing a 78-65 decision to Hampton University.
Senior guard Adam Chaviz is the reigning Pacific West Conference Player of the Week, an honor he has earned three times already this season. He leads the Penguins with a scoring average of 14.0 points per game in just 21.6 minutes. He is the only Dominican player averaging double figures.
Two sophomores, center Killian Larson and guard Ian Collins are atop the rebounding category, averaging 5.0 and 4.6 rebounds per game, respectively.
Dominican takes most of its shots from the inside, shooting 43.8 percent from the floor, led by Collins' 55.8 percent. The Penguins have only hit 24 three-pointers as a team, led by Michael Wells' six treys on the season.
Head Coach Brett Tovani is 74-79 in his sixth season at the helm of the Penguins' program.
