Colorado State faces competitive field in California

FORT COLLINS – With the Mountain West Championship in less than a month, the Rams are finishing out the regular season with the El Macero Classic, hosted by UC Davis at the El Macero Country Club. The tournament will take place April 10-12, with one 18-hole round played each day.

Format: The 19-team field will participate in a 54-hole tournament playing in foursomes. The golfers will play the first 18 hole-round in a shotgun start on Friday, and finish with the last two rounds on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The low four individual scores will determine the team's final score each round.

Colorado State is coming off a finish in 30th in The Goodwin, with Jake Rodgers leading the Rams shooting nine-over-par and placing 97th individually.
