Lee Shoots Low in Round One as Rams Compete at Yale Classic

Rams battle through competitive, ranked field at PGA West
LA QUINTA, Calif.– Colorado State finished play at the Yale Classic on Tuesday, competing at the PGA West Tournament Course, finishing ninth in a competitive ten-team field featuring five top-50 ranked squads. The Rams shot 49-over-par overall, shooting their four-player low score of 294 in the second round. Jacinda Lee led the Rams with an individual finish in 33rd playing 12-over. Lee tied her season-low round in the opening round with a two-under card, also tying with the third-lowest individual round of the season for the Rams.Â

- Leading the Rams this tournament was Jacinda Lee, who finished in 33rd individually with a 12-over-par card. Lee also shot the most birdies for the team, totaling 10 in her rounds.
- Not far behind Lee was Chiara Sola, who played 13-over to land an individual finish in 37th. Sola shot four birdies in her second round, earning her an even-par finish for the round.Â
- Finishing in 41st was Kara Kaneshiro, who played 15-over-par. Kaneshiro also played low in the second round, shooting one-under and boasting six birdies in the 18 holes.
- Right behind Kaneshiro was Ebba Thalen, who played 18-over for an individual finish in 42nd. Thalen tied with Lee for most pars shot this tournament with a total of 31.
- Rounding out the Rams was Inje Natchanun, who finished with a 55th placement playing 27-over. Natchanun played the lowest for the Rams in round three with 76 strokes.Â
