Thirteen Rams Recognized by 1A Far for Achievement

Four CSU programs have two honorees each
FORT COLLINS  – On Thursday, 13 Colorado State graduated student-athletes were honored for their academic excellence through the entirety of their career by 1A FAR.

The organization consists of all the Faculty Athletic Representatives from schools at the Football Bowl Subdivision level, with a mission to advocate for effective interaction and academic and fiscal balance between an institution's missions for academics and the intercollegiate programs.

The annual award recognizes student-athletes who graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or higher and participated in at least two years of NCAA athletics at the FBS level.

Eight of the CSU's athletic program were represented on the list, with two coming from each the women's golf, softball, swim and dive and soccer programs. Those honored are: Pemika Arphamongkol, Brooke Bohlender, Tyler Colwell, Klaire Kovatch, Skyler Lyon, Giles Pooler, Shayna Ross, Katie Stinchcomb, Sanna Strom, Liv Stutzman, Avery Vander Ven, Maya White and Ali Yoshida.

This group represents a record number for Colorado State since the award was first presented in 2020. In 2024, 10 Rams were honored.
