Stonehouse Caps Career with PFF All-American Honors

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – After concluding his career with an NCAA-record mark of 47.8 yards per punt, it is only fitting that Colorado State senior punter Ryan Stonehouse also snags an All-American distinction for a third time in his career.

An All-American in 2018 and 2020, Stonehouse picked up second team honors from Pro Football Focus following the best campaign of his career.

Stonehouse averaged a school-record 50.9 yards per punt in 2021, the second-best mark in the country, as he set NCAA career records for most 50+ yard punts as well as most career games over a 40.0-yard average. He was also named a semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award, given to the nation's top punter, for the first time in his career.

He is the first Ram to earn second team or better honors in multiple seasons of his career, and the third Ram punter overall to reach All-American status joining Jimmie Kaylor (2005) and Hayden Hunt (2015).

Stonehouse is the third Ram this season to pick up All-American honors, joining Mackey Award winner Trey McBride and freshman safety Jack Howell.
