Anne Andersen Earns Academic All-District Honors

Fort Collins, Colo. - Colorado State sophomore tennis player Anne Andersen has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team. Colorado State's district is comprised of all Division I and I-AA teams from Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Andersen, a native of Hadsund, Denmark, posted a 20-14 record at No. 2 singles including a 15-8 mark in dual competition. Anne, along with teammate Emily Kirchem, broke the CSU school record for doubles victories with a 21-10 record at the No. 1 position. In doubles play, they defeated the No. 2 doubles team in the nation 8-7 (5) and earned all-MWC honors. She has a 3.95 GPA with a major in economics.
