Pamela Bartz began working with Colorado State University athletics in September of 2015.  Pamela serves as the Director of Performance Nutrition; with her primary sports being football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and volleyball.

Prior to CSU, Bartz was the Director of Performance Nutrition at Samford University; where she oversaw all 17 sports teams’ nutrition needs.

Bartz began her sports dietitian career as an intern at the University of Tennessee; where she oversaw the nutrition needs of; men’s and women’s track & field, baseball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s swimming & diving, men’s and women’s Golf, women’s rowing and women’s volleyball.

Bartz is a graduate of Louisiana State University, graduating in 2009 and 2011 with bachelor's degrees in exercise science and nutritional sciences, respectively. During her college career; she competed on the LSU Powerlifting Team, where she won three individual national titles and two team national titles. Bartz also competed on the USA Powerlifting Team (2006-2010, 2012). She won gold medals in the squat and deadlift at the 2010 Junior World Powerlifting Championships.

Bartz is a Registered Dietitian (RD), Board Certified Sports Dietitian (CSSD), and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND), the Collegiate & Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA), and the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).
