Kelsea Winkle begins her first season as the Rams’ director of recruiting in 2018.
As the director of recruiting, Winkle will be in charge of directing on-campus recruiting and overseeing recruiting interns, as well as other departmental duties. Those duties include social media communications, department administration and NCAA compliance.
Winkle was a recruiting intern for the CSU football program from 2014-17, and graduated from CSU in May 2018 with a double major in hospitality management and communication studies. As a recruiting intern, her duties consisted of helping coordinate on-campus recruiting events, including unofficial and official visits, facilities tours and more.
She also gained valuable athletics experience interning in the front office with the Tacoma Rainiers triple-A baseball club (2017) and the Colorado Eagles ECHL hockey team (2014-15), as well as working as the director of marketing and promotions & assistant to the general manager for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots baseball club.
