Erechtchenko, Voeks, Zhadzinskaya recognized by CSC

FORT COLLINS – Excelling in the classroom, a trio from Colorado State's women's tennis team earned academic accolades from the College Sports Communicators for the past season.

Victoria Erechtchenko, Logan Voeks and Viktoryia Zhadzinskaya were all named CSC Academic All-District by the organization Tuesday. This is the second consecutive year Zhadzinskaya has earned the honor; it is the first time for Erechtchenko and Voeks – the first time they were eligible while at Colorado State.

To qualify for the distinction, a student-athlete must carry at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA and participate in 70 percent of matches with a team score.

Voeks and Zhadzinskaya tied for the team lead in singles wins this season, each with 13. Erechtchenko, along with Sarah Weekley, earned All-Mountain West honors in doubles, the seventh consecutive season the program has had a doubles tandem recognized.
