Rams Finish in the Top 10 in Greensboro

Colorado State faced a challenging course at the Qubein Cup finishing 10th
Greensboro, N.C. – A challenging course got the best of the field of 13 at the Qubein Cup at the par 70 Sedgefield Country Club. Colorado State men's golf finished in 10th place with a 302-288-308—898 and dropped a trio of positions in the final round.

CSU wasn't the only team struggling as the whole field together averaged nearly six-over par for the three rounds, including the final round over hitting the over-six mark. The Rams finished fourth in the field making 156 pars, but didn't catch the charts in neither birdies or eagles+.

Christoph Bleier started the tournament carding an even-par in the opening round, beginning on the back nine and making the turn with a 2-under before finishing at even after a double at the first tee.

Ralf Kivi inked the lone under-par card for Colorado State, coming in the second round with a 67. The freshman marked just one bogey during the 18, while having a clean sheet on the front nine with a par of birdies.

Matthew Wilkinson made the biggest push for Colorado State in the final round, moving up 15 spots to lead the Rams in 38th place with a 15-over par.
