IN HIS WORDS
Head coach Christian Newton on the team's performance
"The boys battled some tough conditions yesterday and all day today. They fought hard and I'm proud of that. This was a tough place to debut two freshmen, but overall, I'm pleased with their start. Poon had a great week and AJ's round was huge for us today. Davis is close to playing well; he just needs a few more putts to fall to get his confidence going. Overall, it was a good showing as we took home some key wins."
NOTES
NEXT UP
CSU will next be on the course March 20-21, playing in the National Invitational Tournament in Tucson, Ariz.
