Track & Field Signs Learsha Jones

The Colorado State track & field coaches today announced the signing of Learsha Jones to a national letter of intent. Jones will enroll at CSU in the fall of 2007.

Jones finished fourth at the Colorado 5Astate championship in the 300 hurdles, as well as sixth in the 100 meters for Aurora Central. She also clocked a 14.4 in the 100 meter hurdles at last season's regional meet.

"Learsha is a wonderful young lady with incredible talent," said hurdles coach John Carter. "She is full of potential and should make an immediate impact with the team. Jones has everything we are looking for in a hurdler, teammates and CSU Ram."
