Sean Moran will forever be known as one of the greatest defensive players of the 1990s and the man who picked up the fumble in the 1994 Arizona game for a 77-yard touchdown. A two-time first-team All-WAC defensive lineman, Moran combined with teammate Brady Smith to solidify one of the finest duos for sacking quarterbacks in school history. A 1991 graduate of Overland High School, Moran received second-team All-American honors from College Sports Magazine in 1995.Â
Moran was drafted in the fourth round of the 1996 NFL Draft, Moran spent eight years in the NFL with Buffalo, St. Louis and San Francisco. He played in Super Bowl XXXVI and is an Aurora firefighter.Â
