Men's Basketball: 1996-99

A first team All-WAC guard, Milton Palacio was a team leader for three seasons with the Rams. Palacio still ranks among all-time leaders for assists, assist average and steals in school history at the time of his induction. For his career, Palacio was 1,000-point scorer in just three seasons and started all 88 games he played. At the end of the 1998-99 season, his 1,073 minutes played were the third-most in a season in school history. Palacio was an undrafted free agent in 1999, going to the Vancouver Grizzlies and playing for Boston, Phoenix, Cleveland, Toronto and Utah over seven seasons. After his NBA career, he spent another six seasons in other professional leagues. He then began a career as assistant coach for Durham United and the Long Island Nets of the NBA G League.
